CHENNAI 15 June 2007, A team of young entrepreneurs from a startup "MobileVeda" incubated at Technology Business Incubator cell of VIT University, Vellore have released a free mobile book on "Periyar Movement" and a mobile website for the movie
"Periyar".
The content for the book is provided by Dravidar Kazhagam,the mobile book can be read on any java enabled mobile handset. This will work on most of the Mobile phones available in the market today.
Various patrons of the legendary leader are of the opinion that modern tools like websites and mobile technologies should be used for educating today's younger generation on life of our country's greatest leaders and freedom fighters. Games and entertainment on mobile devices should only be next priority than acquiring quality knowledge.
